  The funeral for Lillie Kelly, 99, of Maddock, formerly of Oberon, was held at Calvary Lutheran Church in Oberon. Interment was in the Hillside Cemetery at Oberon. She died on 15 Jul 2004 at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford, ND. The Nelson Funeral Home of Maddock was in charge of arrangements. Lillie Elizabeth Buehler was born on 30 Aug 1904 in West Palins, MO to William and Jakobina Frieburger Beuhler. At the age of seven she moved with her parents to Oberon and attended rural school. She married Cecil Kelly on 1 Apr 1933 at Minnewaukan. They lived on a farm west of Oberon and later moved to Maddock. They spent many winters in Alamo, TX. He died on 24 Jan 1995. She moved to the Maddock Memorial Home in 1997 and to the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford in 2003. She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Obeon, the Flora Homemakers and the 55 Club. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Luella and Verdel Olson of Maddock; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers, Willie Buehler, Charles Buehler, Edmund Buehler, Albert Buehler and George Buehler and a sister, Louise Buehler.
